This section of RickBeach.com documents garage sale finds, estate sale discoveries, thrift store items, unusual collectibles, overlooked everyday objects, and practical resale opportunities encountered during the ongoing Nomad Income / eBay Resale Project.
Some items may eventually be sold online, some may be kept for personal use, and others may simply be interesting examples of things commonly overlooked in secondhand environments.
What Makes a Find Interesting?
Not every interesting find is expensive. Sometimes value comes from rarity, regional history, unusual design, nostalgia, practical usefulness, or simply discovering something unexpected in an unlikely place.
Part of the goal of this project is learning how to recognize items that may deserve a second look before being ignored, donated, recycled, or discarded.
Types of Finds
Garage Sales: household items, tools, electronics, collectibles, outdoor gear, kitchenware, books, media, and forgotten storage items.
Estate Sales: vintage items, older technology, historical objects, artwork, handcrafted pieces, antique tools, military items, and unusual collections accumulated over decades.
Thrift Stores: practical resale inventory, hidden collectibles, overlooked electronics, hobby equipment, and useful everyday items.
Travel Finds: interesting objects discovered during road trips, rural communities, desert towns, roadside stops, swap meets, and local community sales.
Research & Resale
Part of the process involves researching sold prices, identifying manufacturers, checking demand, estimating shipping challenges, and deciding whether an item makes sense for resale or personal use.
Not every item is worth listing online. Sometimes the research itself becomes the interesting part of the story.

This section will gradually expand with photographs, item breakdowns, pricing discussions, sourcing stories, resale lessons learned, and real-world experiences from the field.
