TITLE CENTERING

Print This Page

The default for the alignment [at least THEME TwentySeventeen] of the TITLE, on both POSTS & PAGES, is to appear on the left.  That’s fine if that suits you.  If you start wondering how to center it for a different appearance.  You simply add a little chunk of HTML code to the CSS.  Not much to know if you can Copy & Paste.

It will not change the HOME page TITLE.  On the HOME page the TITLE will remain left justified.

We prefer the centered TITLE look better.  We set this up in the initial process when starting to build our PAGES and Site.  There is less of a chance of destroying a bunch of work if you inadvertently mess up the code when adding to the the field in the CSS.  You also have to have the Page Layout set to One Column or the Title will appear in the left column by itself.
