LANDSCAPE LIGHT Fairy

Landscape Fairy Light

This was another garage sale find.  A minor defect.  But Marilyn didn’t want to attempt to sell it in her shop.

Originally a 120VAC  “Christmas Light” bulb base.  Often used in bedroom nightlights.  Which this lamp was originally exactly that.  I believe it is suppose to be Tinker Bell.

This fit nicely with the whimsical look of the garden area of our patio.  So that meant converting it to use 12V landscape bulbs.

I used and adapter: E27 E26 to MR16 GU5.3 GU4 G4 – Standard E26/E27 Screw Base to MR16 GU5.3 GU4 G4 Base LED Light Lamp Adapter Holder Converter.  That allowed me to use the original lamp socket and wire.  Just cut off that wall plug and it was ready.

This was then wired into our landscape light system.   It sits on an outdoor plant shelf, subtlety lighting up a otherwise dark corner.
